Benny P. Nayarambalam ((マラヤーラム語:ബെന്നി പി. നായരമ്പലം)) is a Malayalam cinema and drama writer . His first drama credit was for ''Athyunnathangalil Deivathinu Sthuthi'', which he wrote when he was just 19 years old, for Rajan P. Dev's drama company . Benny also acted as Rajan's son in it. The post-graduate in Malayalam Language and Literature entered cinema as a scriptwriter when he was doing his degree with ‘First Bell' (1992), directed by P. G. Viswambharan. Benny completed 25 films and most of them turned as mega hits and blockbusters including Junior Mandrake, Kalyanaraman, Chanthupottu, Thommanum Makkalum etc Only two of his dramas have been made into films. Apart from ‘Chandupottu', ‘Kunjikoonan', which was called ‘Vikalanga Varsham' in the drama version. The movie, ‘Chandupottu' was called ‘Arabikkadalum Adbudavilakkum' in its avatar as a drama. Benny acted the role that Dileep did in the movie and Rajan P.
